Oh writing, how do I love thee
Let me count the ways.
With you, I can speak of my love and adoration,
Rejoice on my triumphs,
And groan over my defeats.
With you, I can foster goodwill,
Win friends and make a difference in the lives of the people I come across with.
With you I can express my disappointments,
Rage my fury if I want to,
And go against all injustices.
With you, I can smile, and I can frown,
I can laugh, and I can cry
Without the fears of prejudices and reject.
With you, I can talk of my dreams;
And let ‘em soar as far and as high as I want them to be.
Oh writing, I am truly smitten,
Indeed, I am so in love with thee,
For only with you, I can always be me!
